Ever since I purchased the CD version of Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki and listened to it on the way home from from a family Christmas gathering in December, 2003, I have been awakened to the possibilities to increase my family’s cash flow, with the goal of creating multigenerational wealth. The search continued while playing Cashflow 101, first with my ten year old son, then finding a group that plays regularly in Montreal, headed by Angelo Pace and MontrealCashFlow.com.
That continued and sharpened the educational journey to finding safe, low risk investments to provide security for my financial life. I have gone through a long search, but now have a few suggestions to try, depending on your comfort level of involvement in your investments you wish to take. I highly recommend taking a firm personal grip on your money affairs. As they always say, no one cares about your money as much as you do.
For those looking for a safe haven for your retirement savings, and don’t trust the stock market or especially mutual funds, take a look at H.E.I.R. That is a Canadian company dedicated to building wealth for Canadians in safe, often non-traditional investments. Problem with this company, for most of the world is that it is strictly for Canadian residents.
For those ready to venture out into owning their own business, there is real estate investment, Canadian stock trading, a US stock information site, and various home operated businesses. I have a few suggestions for getting started on the internet with financial education and one very strong recommendation for the energy sector. I am doing both, so only the future will tell which was the best use of my time.
My wish is that you find the resources you need to further your goals, be they for increased Income, Alternative Energy exploration or active pursuits in your leisure Time
